Sisters soup was of a pudding consistency and not remarkable at all. The Fish & Chips was ok but no Tarter sauce came with it. Scallops were not seared, shrimp looked bland, crab cake was just ok. Out of the 3 adult meals no one was satisfied with the preparation of their food and the taste was nothing to make us want to come back. Apparently it was from tables recently being resurfaced. Table was sticky so we asked for paper to cover it.

We settled in, ordered 4 meals plus a B-Day Brownie/Ice Cream (very good) treat for the B-Day girl. No problem as they took a couple of minutes to clean off table and seat us. We had to point out another waterside seat was open. for waterside seating when we registered for text message at reception area. 1 hour wait for table by the water is no problem.right? We were first shown to inside seats before reminding hostess we asked. Sister decided she wanted to go to Nick's for her B-Day so we obliged and treated her and her grandson to dinner. It took me many years to finally make it and I will sure to be back for date ni More Didn't see the inside but i am guessing it has an upscale feel compared to the outside. The outside has a beachy feel that truly makes you feel on vacation far away from Baltimore.

The bartender knows how to make an outstanding Margarita and he was very patient with helping us get drinks for the band. We eat at the outside bar near the music and the bartender and was excellent but the atmosphere was somewhat of a mess just like the seafood platter. The seafood platter was thrown together in what looked like a mess of a plate but it was fresh and very good. I have been talking about eating here for years but have always been hesitant to bring the family because they do not take reservations, and so my wife and I went a little late close to 8pm on traditional Saturday date night which worked out perfect. I am giving a five star rating instead of 4 stars because they have great taste in music. singing, it makes for such a great yin and yang balance. They are so entertaining with the Animal completely animated on the bongo kit and Tim's laid back. My wife and I was looking for live music and we found a jamming duo called "Tim and the Animal" playing their hearts out on the back patio. Overall a great meal for us with a few issues but I would not hesitate going again. I expected better as I have been there many many times. It was disgusting with overflowing trash, dirty floors and a clogged toilet in one of the stalls. The only real downside was the men's room. We split a 1/2 lb of shrimp and they were a very nice size, cooked right. The mussels were great, cooked just right and the garlic bread was great for soaking up the sauce. We also ordered mussels, my wife had the wine reduction and I had the diablo. Pretty light on the crab and temperature was warm not hot, for $10 for what was basically a large cup I would have expected better. I ordered a bowl of cream of crab soup, it was a bit lacking this time. Our drinks came out swiftly as did our food. We were disappointed the deck was closed but considering the crowd it was easy to see why. Fortunately there were no games going on and it was fairly quite. Went to Nick's Fish House on Sunday after visiting the Aquarium.
